Explanation

So I had the idea of having a store filled with words where tourists in Union Square would pick up souvenirs. The size 3"x3" means they can be mailed / put into suitcases. They are small enough to ship, but big enough to have an impact sitting on a shelf.

Then the cascading implications hit me.

- Imagine an emphasis on value of education and power of words

- Imagine relating to people through the exchange of words

- Imagine gift ideas that you can re-gift, or build something out of

 - Imagine an app that you point at the word and it tells you the definition

I was saying that there would be a google search bar in the window you can take pictures with your words in. My friend said he could see stores adopting this, putting their keywords in a neon google sign in the window to re-enforce their internet presence. Brilliant!

Just imagine seeing the word "Yeah" in someone's office. Next time you are in Paris you walk into a word store and see the word "Hell" and you have it mailed to that person (a service of the store). Then they send you a word or two. It becomes a symbol of your  relationship.

I imagine going online and viewing a webcam of a store in Paris and talking to an attendant there. I pick out a word in their inventory and they mail it to her address in Paris. Interactive, fun.. love it!

Died

Okay, I just about died when I saw this! It is perfect! So impactful! I love how the words are too big for the podiums. It is like life can't hold them! I noticed that there are a lot of negative words in the list I got from a GRE test prep site.

So cool! I can't wait to decorate my house in my mind as I walk around the store!
